French Victorian children's game from Sondheim estate in shadow box

The pieces of this French children's game have been arranged for display in a 10"x10" shadow box. The title translates as roughly, "The broken hen." Stephen Sondheim was a great collector of games and puzzles and he particularly appreciated items from the Victorian era such as this example. The boxed game (without shadowbox) was part of lot 121 sold by Doyle from The Collection of Stephen Sondheim on November 14, 2014. It will be accompanied by a COA.
