Antique "Domino Musical" box with instructions, as found, from the collection of Stephen Sondheim

This is the box that contained the French musical dominoes that are being offered separately. It is in "as found" condition with a hole on the cover and splitting of the bottom half. The instructions for how to play the game are included on the inner surfaces of the box lid and bottom. The box is approximately 10.5" x 9.75" x 1.75." Framing the instruction sides of the box could be an effective way of displaying the piece. It was sold as part of lot 119 in the November 14 Doyle auction of the Collection of Stephen Sondheim. It will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
