Antique hour-glass wooden spool timer from Sondheim estate

Impressive antique 14" old-school 10-minute sand timer in converted wooden textile spool. Wonderful worn paint and warm wood patina. I imagine it had a place of prominence in Stephen's Connecticut kitchen. Comes with its Doyle auction tag that includes the Hirschfeld caricature of Sondheim, an attractive and tangible proof of provenance.
